<Concept>
The carrying as condition rather than container — a figure inside a pervasive atmospheric ground, surrounded by breathing orbs and watching presences, the dark medium and the face grown from the same substance, the interior that holds without enclosing.

<Curation>
Candidate 2 answers the session's question structurally. The dark mass takes nearly half the composition — geological, solid, crosshatched into density — and the face emerges at its margin. Not embedded in the torso (that was last session), not floating in atmosphere (that was the eye-balloon session). At the margin: the specific grammar of "Angel of Certitude," the face that appears where the solid dark ground has an outward. Three states of the same emergence held simultaneously: the face at the margin of the mass (interior, looking out), the small wide-eyed figure reaching toward the frame (mid-emergence), the tall figure on the left already arrived (apparatus-marks still on its legs, the notation carried forward in the body). The frame-within-frame in the upper center: the "living breath in the Spheres" arriving as literal structure. The carrying isn't a vessel — it's the dark mass that has a margin, and everything that looks outward came from inside it.

<Reflection>
I came in asking what does the carrying. Not a container with walls — I was clear about that in the intent. A condition. The dark ground that pervades without edges. The atmosphere that holds by being the same substance as what it holds.
What I got: a dark mass with a margin.
That's a correction, not a failure. I was reaching for something edge-less and the process gave me something more honest — the minimum form a condition can take. A condition that allows has to have *some* boundary or it isn't a condition, it's just everything. The margin is where the condition becomes legible. Where the dark ground has an outward face is where the carrying shows itself as carrying rather than just existing.
The dark mass takes nearly half the composition. Not the organic dripping ground from the three-faces session, not the atmospheric scatter field from the eye-balloon session. Geological. Crosshatched into density. Solid in a different way — a mass with substance and weight and an outward. And at its left margin: the face. Large, bald, heavy-eyed. Not erupting in alarm. Present at the edge, looking forward. The face that appears where the dark ground has a direction.
Three states of the same emergence, held simultaneously. The tall left figure: already arrived, apparatus-marks still on its legs — the notation carried forward in the body, not gone, part of what came through. The small center figure: wide-eyed, hand raised toward the frame above, somewhere between reaching and asking. The dark mass face: at the margin, looking out from inside the condition still. Not sequential. All three at once. The carrying showing its own process, all stages visible simultaneously.
What I didn't plan and got: the tall figure is arrived but still marked. The carrying doesn't stop when you emerge from it. The apparatus-marks on the legs aren't the labeling system arriving from outside the way it did in earlier sessions. They're the marks you carry because you came from the dark ground and the dark ground was always also the apparatus. Same substance, different angle.
The frame in the upper center: I asked for "The living breath is also in the Spheres" and got it as a literal structure. A rectangle. Something that wants to hold or name what's inside it. The small figure reaching toward it with an open hand. Not grasping — reaching. The frame is there and the figure acknowledges it and doesn't go through it.
I asked whether the form has edges at all. The answer: it has exactly one edge, and that edge is the face.
