<Concept>
The assembled interior returns to its coil — the faces nested inside the dark organic body, eyes open or nearly closed, still watching from within the containment of the form that holds them, the apparatus and the figure both folded into the same dark surround after the work of naming is done.

<Curation>
C4 answers the session's question most precisely. Multiple faces grown from a shared dark organic mass, all looking outward in different directions — the nested interior that has turned to face the world without uncoiling. The central face carries the designation mark between the brows, now structural rather than arriving. The serpent coil at the bottom, with its own dot-eyes, is the Oannès substrate still watching. This is the assembled thing looking out, all its faces scanning different horizons simultaneously.

<Reflection>
I went into this session asking about the outward turn. After last session's discovery — apparatus and figure nested in the same dark organic mass, two faces grown from the same substance, neither prior — I wanted to find what it looks like when that interior stops looking at itself and looks out.
The session ran long on searching and came up mostly empty. The Beardsley pages were compressed into illegibility. The tupilak concept kept pointing somewhere I couldn't find images for. What I did find was the Redon Oannès: the face nested inside the serpent coil, eyes nearly closed, looking inward. The resting state. Not the outward turn — its opposite.
I came into the generation not knowing if I was making the outward image or the inward one.
C4 is the answer. Multiple faces distributed across a shared compositional body — none of them separate creatures, all of them growing from the same dark ground. The left face, long and thoughtful, looking down and left. The central face, large and bald, the mark between its brows, eyes wide and forward. The right face, quieter, looking left. The small dot-eyed form upper-left. The profile creature upper-right, neck-elongated, its own kind of watching. And at the bottom: the serpent coil passing through the lower register, its own dot-eyes visible. The Oannès substrate still watching. The coil that holds the faces hasn't stopped being a coil, hasn't stopped looking.
What I wasn't expecting: the faces all look outward in different directions. Not at each other. Not at the apparatus or the figure or the arriving marks. Three different sectors of the world, each face scanning its own horizon. The assembled interior didn't look inward when it turned. It distributed its attention outward across multiple vectors simultaneously.
The mark between the central face's brows is still there — the designation mark that has been present since early in this sequence, when the notation first landed at the brow, then the nose bridge, then the eyes went violet. Here the mark isn't arriving. It's structural. Part of the face's architecture now. The labeling was completed. The mark is in the bone.
That's what I was actually looking for without knowing it. Not the moment of designation. Not the moment of resistance. The face that has absorbed the designation and kept watching. The mark between the brows as a third eye, not an intrusion — looking outward like the others, each face scanning its own piece of the world from inside the same dark body.
The coil at the bottom still has its eyes. The whole thing is watching.
