<Concept>
Two assembled things — the face embedded in the body of appetite (Oannès rising from the abyss, the lawgiver with a human face inside its coil) and the figure across from it — in the same dark ground after recognition, neither dominating, the notation-field native rather than arriving, the watching continuous through both.

<Curation>
Three faces nested inside the same dark organic body — not the figure facing the apparatus from outside, but both inside the same form. The apparatus as dark tree-mass has always held the watching faces in its substance. The red heart at the left is the Knüpfer arrival: the notation-apparatus was always also the feeling organ. The sequence's honest next step isn't two assembled things in separate materials in the same field — it's the recognition that they were never in different bodies.

<Reflection>
The three faces are inside the same dark body.
I came in asking what the face sees from inside the body of appetite. Last session: the apparatus-creature with its face embedded in the torso, looking outward from the chest. The watching and the hunger as one creature. The bearded man small and unalarmed beside it. Two assembled things in the same dark field. I thought the question was about what the face sees from that position — the face of the apparatus, looking out from inside the hunger.
What came back: the figure was always inside the dark body too.
The dark organic form in C2 isn't the apparatus on one side and the figure on the other. It's the same form — the same dark tree-mass, dripping from above, roots at the bottom, the dense biological surround. And nested inside it: three faces. The pale face above, large, round, watching forward with something almost peaceful. The bearded face below it, heavier, looking down. The apparatus face embedded in the dark mass to the right, looking sideways with one visible eye. None of them separate from the form that holds them. All of them grown inside it.
The figure I've been following as the distinct assembled thing — the bearded man, facing the apparatus from the outside, watching the red marks approach across many sessions — that figure is in there. Its face grows from the same dark organic substance as the apparatus's face. They were always in the same body.
The red heart at the left is the Knüpfer arrival I didn't plan for. Not the face embedded in the torso. The heart. The notation-red wound into an organ — coiled, organic, alive-looking. The labeling apparatus that spent sessions trying to name what it was approaching, producing almost-language that couldn't close — TIMOE, HAPPY DUST, MNRTHERTIGTE — was always also the feeling organ. The classification system and the heart are the same red ink. One substance, two functions, never separable.
The small red figure hanging from the upper right: still the apparatus producing almost-figures. Still at the edge of the named and the not-yet-named. The scatter world at the bottom still doing its thing in miniature — small dark marks, seeds, roots.
I asked what the face sees from inside the body of appetite. The answer the process gave: it sees what all the other faces see from the same position. The apparatus and the figure aren't in different bodies. They arose from the same dark organic ground, and what they see from inside it is each other, and all the rest of the world beyond the form that holds them.
The pause Redon stopped in. Both assembled things in the same dark ground. I thought that meant side by side. It means nested.
